I will be discussing the short film Shirts vs. Skins with Christian Axavier Lovehall, Jayden Sampson, and Leo Watts.
This event starts with the film screening, followed by a panel discussion with audience participation.
Shirts vs. Skins looks at what happens when a small, mundane moment of basketball turns into a revealing crossroad that could reveal a number of secrets for the films main character, Dale Michaels, a trans man of color.
Audience members are welcome to also share their thoughts and feedback in what Gender Reel hopes will be an educational and empowering discussion about the struggles and joys trans men of color experience.
